ISO 19600 and ISO 37301 - Compliance Management Systems

Compliance management is an integral part of every organization's overall growth strategy. To streamline compliance management efforts, ISO enacted two standards: ISO 19600 and ISO 37301. In this course, we will explore the implications of these standards, their requirements, and how they help organizations establish a compliance management system. Both standards have been broken down into detailed topics as well.

In order to function fully and grow, organizations should comply with various regulations and laws imposed upon them. However, complying with a myriad of regulations is challenging. It also requires organizations to take a standardized approach and measures to achieve their goals. To help them, the ISO enacted two standards, ISO 19600 and ISO 37301. While ISO 19600 only guides organizations to establish a compliance management system, ISO 37301 contains all the requirements.
In this course, Exoexcellence Consultants' developers have included topics that explore both of these standards in detail. First, the course explains the importance of compliance management systems, their components, and compliance audits. Then, it discusses ISO 37301, its attributes, certification process, and compliance programs. A separate topic also explains the whole implementation process for the standard.
Then, the course presents a detailed overview of the ISO 19600 standard and its main requirements. Although ISO 19600 is no longer used for compliance management systems, it is still included in this course to help students understand the difference between current and previous ISO compliance management practices.
